FAQs about the
SOFT CARPET UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER
Yes, the Soniclean Soft Carpet is very easy to use on soft-style carpet. The Soniclean Soft Carpet upright vacuum has a special adjustable vent system in the front of the vacuum, allowing the user to choose the exact suction requirements for their specific type of soft-style carpet. The Soniclean Soft Carpet vacuum also has over-sized rubber wheels that prevent the vacuum from sinking into even the densest carpets. This principle works similar to snowshoes. Snowshoes evenly distribute a person's weight over a larger surface area, allowing them to walk on top of areas with deep snow coverage. Large wheels on a vacuum cleaner means the vacuum is easier to use and cleans better.
No. The brush roll does not turn off in the hard floor mode, but the sonic bar is deactivated. When vacuuming hard floor surfaces, the bristles on the brush roll do not come in contact with the floor.
No. Soniclean's patented EZ-Push™ adjustable vent system and the geometry of the vacuum head replaces the need for manual height adjustment.
The brush roll on the Soft Carpet upright vacuum is designed to gently, yet effectively clean plush, soft-style carpet and high-quality area rugs made of wool, nylon, Triexta®, and polyester fibers. If you are unsure if your carpet fibers are too delicate to be cleaned with a brush roll, we recommend that you consult with your carpet retailer/manufacturer to see which type of vacuum (brush roll or straight suction) they recommend for your carpet.
The SFC-7000 is designed to clean most types, styles, and textures of carpet, provided that the carpet’s pile length is no longer that 1 inch in length. The SFC-7000 is also designed to clean such as: cut pile, saxony, frieze, textured, and tight loop carpets.

The Soniclean Soft Carpet vacuum’s seal-tech HEPA filtration system has H13 Hospital-grade HEPA filtration. The entire vacuum is a sealed HEPA system, meaning that there are no dust leaks during operation as well as when the vacuum is in storage for a prolonged period of time.
The Soniclean Soft Carpet vacuum has an indicator light that illuminates when it’s time for a filter bag change. Filter bags typically last around 6 weeks or longer; depending on how frequently you vacuum.
No, the Soft Carpet SFC-7000 does not include attachments. We designed this vacuum to be incredibly lightweight (only 10.5 lbs) to maximize ease of use and cleaning performance on the densest of carpets. For any of your above-floor cleaning needs, we offer the Soft Carpet upright vacuum with a powerful handheld vacuum for all your above floor cleaning needs: Soft Carpet Upright/Handheld Combo
Yes, the Soft Carpet upright vacuum cleaner has two cleaning modes.
1) Deep Cleaning Mode with 100% suction power with the sonic bar activated. This mode is designed for vacuuming carpeted surfaces that experience a high volume of foot traffic. It is completely safe to use the Deep Cleaning Mode on all carpeted surfaces on a regular basis.
2) Regular Cleaning Mode with 68% suction power with the sonic bar deactivated. This mode is designed for vacuuming carpeted and hard floor surfaces. This mode is great for regular cleaning and is approximately 50% quieter than the Deep Cleaning Mode.
The vacuum weighs only 10.5 lbs.
The vacuum is 44 inches tall. The vacuum head (cleaning width) is 14 inches wide. When fully reclined, the vacuum has an 7 inch clearance (you can vacuum under beds and upholstery that are 8 or more inches high).
81.4 sones while in Deep Cleaning Mode. 42.5 sones while in Regular Cleaning Mode. Regular Cleaning Mode is approximately 50% quieter than the Deep Cleaning Mode.

Troubleshooting
SOFT CARPET UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER
Please select issue to troubleshoot:
The check brush light will illuminate when the vacuum senses a jam in the brush roll. Turn off and unplug the vacuum prior to examining and removing any hair or debris caught in the brush roll. If the brush roll is clear of debris and spins freely, you can resume vacuuming. If your brush roll is clean but not rotating freely and/or the light remains illuminated, contact Soniclean support for assistance.
The check bag light will illuminate if:
1). The bag is full and needs to be replaced.
2). There is a clog in the vacuum's suction path.
For clog removal instructions, please reference page 10 of your vacuum's user manual.
If you've replaced the filter bag and removed all clogs and your vacuum's check bag light is still illuminated, contact Soniclean support for assistance.
If an odor is emanating from the vacuum after you’ve replaced the filter bag, this indicates that there is a very high likelihood of a clog in your vacuum. After a few years of use, the suction path of your vacuum may become clogged with debris. Removing any clogs will not only restore the suction performance of the machine, but will subsequently eliminate any musty or unpleasant odors coming from the vacuum. You can find clog removal instructions on page 10 of your user manual.
The Soniclean Soft Carpet's brush roll spins at more than 5000 rotations per minute. If debris is caught in the brush roll, the friction on the brush roll and or drive belt may produce a burnt smell. This is easily remedied by cleaning or replacing the brush roll.
Replacement brush rolls are available for $24.99 + $5.99 for shipping and processing. To order a replacement brush roll, contact Soniclean support.
If an object is caught in the impeller (i.e. the fan that produces the vacuum's suction) or the sonic bar, it might produce a rattling noise. If you notice a unusual noise, power off and unplug the vacuum and check to see if any foreign objects are caught in the impeller and/or sonic bar. Once the foreign object(s) are removed, you can resume vacuuming. To access the impeller/sonic bar, please refer to page 10 of your vacuum's user manual.
One of the major design features that allows the vacuum to be easily pushed and pulled across soft-style carpets are the large front wheels. After some time, dirt and debris may get caught in the front wheels and produce a squeaking noise. It is recommended to clean the wheels and lightly lubricate them to restore smooth motion and eliminate any squeaks.
If the vacuum turns off while in use, please see if any indicator light – Check Bag or Check Brush - has illuminated? If not, check your outlet, or let the vacuum sit overnight before turning it on.
If you've checked the outlet, removed any clogs, and verified that the brush roll is clear of debris and spins freely, this is indicative of a faulty PCBA motherboard. Contact Soniclean support to order a replacement motherboard (covered by limited warranty). We will also provide detailed instructions to replace the motherboard, which takes about 10 minutes to perform and only a Phillips head screwdriver.

This might signal an issue with the circuit board. Please contact Soniclean support for assistance.
99% of the time, suction loss is the consequence of a clog in the vacuum's suction path. If an obstruction is impeding the normal flow of air, suction will be considerably diminished. The best way to check suction is to remove the disposable bag, turn on the vacuum and place your hand in the opening to feel the air coming out.
Please refer to page 10 in your manual for instructions on how to clear out a clog.
Loss of suction may cause the Check Bag light to light up. Our bag fill system works on a static pressure sensor, meaning that once your vacuum loses a pre-determined amount of suction, the indicator light will come on. If the bag is not full, but the Check Bag Light is on, then the vacuum is clogged.
